Hello it´s time for a new book review in English.
I hope everyone is fine, and today´s review is a pretty new book that had a release in August i listen to this book on audio and really like it.
The book eaters by Sunyi Dean. This was her first novel and her debut. For me i feel like this was a cosy book, its fantasy, horror. But i would say it´s only horror elemt and mostly fantasy. Works also for children from 13 and up (middlegrade)

Story: Out on the Yorkshire Moors lives a secret line of people for whom books are food, and who retain all of a book’s content after eating it. To them, spy novels are a peppery snack; romance novels are sweet and delicious. Eating a map can help them remember destinations, and children, when they misbehave, are forced to eat dry, musty pages from dictionaries.
Devon is part of The Family, an old and reclusive clan of book eaters. Her brothers grow up feasting on stories of valor and adventure, and Devon—like all other book eater women—is raised on a carefully curated diet of fairytales and cautionary stories.
But real life doesn’t always come with happy endings, as Devon learns when her son is born with a rare and darker kind of hunger—not for books, but for human minds.
Like i said this was a good book and i like the narrator aswell. Will be fun to se if the author will continue on this story or not but i hope either way that she will be coming out with more. I will say tho it was some LGBT representation, that was something i really like. I recommend this if you like fantasy and stories about books.
