I thought it was time for a book review in English again it´s been awhile and its good practies for me to keep my English going. In today´s book review i´m going to talk about a book i have recently read. It´s Book Lovers by Emily Henry

Book: Book Lovers by Emily Henry it was published in 2022. In swedish the book is called ”bokälskare”

Story: Nora Stephens’ life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister Libby.
Which is why she agrees to go to Sunshine Falls, North Carolina for the month of August when Libby begs her for a sisters’ trip away—with visions of a small-town transformation for Nora, who she’s convinced needs to become the heroine in her own story. But instead of picnics in meadows, or run-ins with a handsome country doctor or bulging-forearmed bartender, Nora keeps bumping into Charlie Lastra, a bookish brooding editor from back in the city. It would be a meet-cute if not for the fact that they’ve met many times and it’s never been cute.

I have read beach read by the same author and loved that book. So i was a bit afraid if i was going to be disappointed now. But i wasn´t disappointed at all. I loved this book. Its charming, fun easy read. About 50 % of this book i started flying through this book. It´s a slow burn but i like it and the trope is a bit enemies to lovers. Loved Nora and Charlies relationship. It was exactly what i wanted. Fun, easy and charming. But my favorite is still beach read.

So if you like romance and books about books then i can highly recommend this book. I relly like Emilys writting. I will definitly read people we meet on vaction. I haven´t read that one yet. Been afraid to pick that one up because i want to like that book too. But i´m more willing now to pick that one up because i´m pretty sure i will like it. I don´t read that much romance but i like the trope enemies to lovers i´ve come to realize. Because i don´t read that much romance i borrow this book from my library and i know they also have people we meet on vacation so i can read it.
